From Sandra's earliest memories the love of art and the passion for painting and drawing have been a great influence in her life.  Sandra grew up in a family of 8 children and the memories from her youth are deeply embedded in the emotions of her paintings today.  Some of these memories include working in the family produce business, a grandfather nicknamed Johnny Appleseed, stories and teachings of pioneer ancestors, a homemade green house, pet chickens, little lambs and the appreciation of beauty found in all the creations of the earth.
